Ride Like James Bond 007 – No Time To Die – Triumph Motorcycle

Triumph Motorcycles has partnered with EON Productions on the 25th James Bond film, “No Time To Die,” to feature special editions of their Tiger 900 and Scrambler 1200 models. The Scrambler 1200 Bond Edition is the first official motorcycle directly linked to the Bond franchise and has been unveiled as a limited-edition version of the Scrambler 1200 XE. Only 250 units are available for purchase, starting at $18,500.

The design of the Scrambler 1200 Bond Edition takes inspiration from Daniel Craig’s bike in the film, featuring a mostly blacked-out paint scheme and prominent 007 branding on the exhaust board and side panel. Triumph started with their top-spec Scrambler 1200 XE as the base and gave it a thorough Bond-inspired makeover. It even includes a unique startup screen, making it a bike for Bond superfans.

Triumph’s Scrambler 1200 XE stunt motorcycle, used during filming, is also up for sale as part of the Sixty Years of James Bond auction by Christie’s. This motorcycle, which played a role in the memorable chase scene in “No Time To Die,” is estimated to be sold for £20,000 – £30,000 ($21,700 – $32,600 USD). However, it should be noted that due to the modifications made for filming, it is not road legal. The new owner would have to decide whether to modify it further for road legality or keep it as-is.

The Triumph Scrambler 1200 XE is a genuine dual-sport adventure bike that combines off-road capabilities with retro styling. It features a 1200cc parallel-twin engine with 89 horsepower and 81 lb-ft of torque, a six-speed transmission, and a weight of 456 lbs (207 kgs) when dry. The bike incorporates off-road adventure bike engineering into a retro package, appealing to many riders.

The Scrambler 1200 XE stunt motorcycle showcased in “No Time To Die” performed brilliantly during the action sequences, according to Lee Morrison, the film’s stunt coordinator. Described as agile and powerful, the motorcycle was put through its paces, including off-road riding, drifting through slippery streets, quick direction changes, and jumps. It became an iconic vehicle in the promotional materials, movie posters, and trailers for the film.

The Scrambler 1200 Bond Edition, with its special Bond-inspired features, is highly sought after by Bond and motorcycle enthusiasts alike. With only 250 units available worldwide and 30 earmarked for the American market, the bikes quickly sold out, demonstrating the strong demand for this limited edition.

In addition to Triumph’s motorcycle, the Aston Martin DB5 is another iconic vehicle synonymous with James Bond. The DB5, featured in the film series since “Goldfinger” in 1964, has captured the hearts of fans throughout the years. While it is not attainable for most, the Scrambler 1200 Bond Edition offers a chance for fans to experience a piece of Bond’s world.
